Have You Ever Heard of Rampages? Because They Changed Everything for Me

Have any other millennial women ever stumbled upon something that completely changed the way you see yourselves?
That’s exactly what happened when I discovered rampages about six months ago. At first, the word 'rampages' made me think of the video game GTA Vice City, which is not exactly what I was looking for in my self-empowerment journey. So I naturally kept scrolling and stuck with my traditional affirmation videos.
But one day I actually stopped and listened to a rampage video. And I’m really glad I did.
Think of rampages as affirmations, but on hyperdrive...
If you’ve ever listened to affirmation videos, you already have the general idea. Someone is speaking positive statements directly to you, things that remind you of your worth, your power, and what you’re capable of. Rampages take that concept and turn up the intensity.
Some example phrases in a rampage:
"You are powerful and unstoppable"
"You radiate confidence with ease"
"Everything I want is already mine"
"What I desire is already done"
While these may feel like general affirmations, it's the delivery that sets rampages apart. The affirmations come faster, they’re more repetitive, more relentless, and there’s something about that rhythm that makes my brain extra happy. It’s less like a gentle reminder and more like someone is determined to make sure you actually believe what they’re saying. Which, honestly, is exactly what we need sometimes.

When I’m listening to a rampage, there is a specific mindset it puts me in that I absolutely love...
It makes me feel unstoppable. Like something in my brain clicks back into place and I remember who I actually am underneath whatever the day has been throwing at me. Life gets heavy. I don’t think I need to explain that to you. And when it does, it’s so easy to forget how powerful you actually are. The external world takes over and starts to drown out everything you’ve worked for, all the healing, growth, and deep work you’ve done on yourself. A rampage cuts through that noise like butter.
Anytime I’m starting to feel overwhelmed with how things are going, I put one on. And I quickly come back to myself and feel an instant boost to my mental wellness. I remember that I do have control over something, even when it feels like I don’t have control over nearly as much as I want. It brings the anxiety down. It settles something in me. And that is not a small thing, especially nowadays.
My favorite time to listen to a rampage is late at night as I'm doing my evening routine.
It gets me relaxed and ready for bed but also gets me super excited for tomorrow. It's like that feeling you get when you know you have a package coming in the mail, or how we used to feel on Christmas Eve as kids! Getting to feel that way anytime I want is kind of a vibe, can't lie. When do you think you’d listen to a rampage?
I’m still fairly new to rampages so while I don’t have an extensive list, I do have favorites to share with you...
I’ve started putting together a playlist on YouTube of my favorite rampages that I keep coming back to. You can find that playlist HERE. Consider it my current rotation, and check back often because I'll continue to add to it.
So if you’ve never tried a rampage before, I highly recommend you to give it a chance, even if the name makes you a bit wary of it. Start with the playlist I linked and see how it makes you feel. And if you don’t like it, at least you’ll know that for the future!
